The Green School Tulum is a holistic educational project located a few kilometers from the ruins and beaches of Tulum. It is built with sustainable materials, such as bamboo, woods and locally sourced materials. This holistic green community inspires students to be curious, engaged and with a passion for the planet.

The Green School offers a holistic, interdisciplinary learning experience that fosters the physical, emotional, intellectual and expressive development of each child. It teaches competencies in math, science, humanities, English, Spanish and Mayan, with experiential classes in business studies, environmental studies, the arts, health and wellness.

Green School was first established in Bali in 2008. Since then, the educational model has expanded to New Zealand and South Africa. Beginning in the fall of 2021, Tulum will be the fourth Green School location worldwide, with 550 students from 35 countries.

Its mission is to create a global community of learners that makes our world a more sustainable place through bilingual education (Spanish/English), from elementary through high school. The Green School is the school of the future that seeks for young people to have an education with a purpose; learning how to be the change of tomorrow and have a positive impact on the world, ignites the passion of children and transforms learning from a chore, into a desire.

GREEN SCHOOL TULUM OPENS IN 2025

The Tulum green school will open between April and December 2025.
